I love reading everyone’s top 10 posts, I know I said that last week, but it’s true. I get to remember old favorites that I’d seen and forgotten and find posts I’d missed.
In the spirit of looking back to look ahead, here’s the top 10 posts for last year.
10. Moses and the 10 Plagues activities
Since these were some of my kids’ favorite activities when we did them, it didn’t surprise me too much.
I was in one of my “high drama” photo phases I get in, and had fun with the images for this post when I wrote it. Also, I liked the torch craft we did.
Who doesn’t love to study Ancient Egypt? Apparently nobody is the right answer to that.
7. Joshua and the Battle of Jericho
What’s not to like about any Sunday School activity that involves building a giant city and then knocking it down?
Once I added my updated comments to this post I quit getting so many emails and comments telling me I completely missed the point of this story.
5. Christmas story bracelet and poem
This past month this post got almost 9000 hits. So, everyone likes the idea of this craft, and it’s always a big hit in Sunday School.
This post beat out the previous one by about 500 hits, so everyone wants to know all about how to tell the Christmas story with 10 beads and a bell
My Bible curriculum landing page is a great starting point for finding out more about what to teach your kids about the Bible.
2. World War 2 movies to watch with your family
There’s something about World War 2 that people want to find out more, and so it’s not too surprising to me this post is always a favorite
1. Tips on teaching distractible kids
For the last two years this has been my number one post, and I think that will continue for a while. I go back and regularly reread it myself to remind me of what I should be doing, so I understand the appeal.
So, that’s the top 10 posts for me this year.
I missed the Christmas bracelet – but I love it!
All excellent posts. Your Christmas bracelet is one of my favorites 🙂
They are all so good! I love top 10 posts, too.
They are all great! It seems that you are finding your target audience with your Bible posts. Happy blogging in 2016!
