A nice calm day of nothing

You know after driving cross country

Superman impressed us by getting sand in his hair within 5 minutes of getting on the beach.  They all impressed us with their tenacity in playing in what I deemed “freezing cold weather,” there is a reason I don’t live up North.

How the boys could play in the water with as cold as it was, I do not know.  Eventually Princess and I went inside and warmed up before swimming in the very nice HEATED pool.

We ended the day with an all you can eat seafood buffet.  Yum, yum, yum.  I certainly got my money’s worth eating all the crab I could get.  The kids tried their best to convince us of the need for unlimited deserts as well.  That one we did not believe.

We’re heading off to Williamsburg today, where we’ll stay for a week.  We’re debating about stopping at Jamestown on the way up.  We’ll see how we decide.

Your road trip sounds awesome. Hooray for down days – and I LOVE heated pools.

I will remind you how much you dislike the cold when the temps go in the 100's for you. 🙂
You really should go to Jamestown. It is a lot of fun for young kids your kids ages. Have fun in Williamsburg. I know you will!

I have missed reading your posts! We appear to be on the mend now!!!!

Our beach water might not ever get warm enough for you!!!!!!!

  6. You sure wouldn't like our beaches then. I am with you though, when I go to the beach I really would prefer much warmer temps.
