Building forts

May 5, 2012 Ticia 8 Comments

My children have become quite the expert at building forts.  While I was laying downstairs yesterday and feeling icky and sorry for myself and burning through the book I decided to read, they were busy.

They eventually had every blanket, pillow, and dollie up in that fort.  Then they spent the remainder of the morning, when I wasn’t pulling kids to read or do school, playing in it.

Oh, I hope you are feeling better! My kids love building and playing in forts. I sometimes help them build them myself! 🙂 Flash back to my childhood days!

If only putting all that away was as much fun as pulling it out 🙂 What book did you read?

Hope you're feeling better soon! I just had to laugh – I posted today about my daughter's “hideout” that she built and decorated and decided to sleep in. Great minds think alike 🙂

Hunger Games Trilogy, Jeff's been asking me to read it for a while.

I'm feeling better now, slowly but surely.

I am jealous of all that activity of three built-in playmates. I am usually kicking Anna out to a neighbor a couple doors down or inviting him in.

Looks like the kids had an awesome time! I hope you're feeling even better at this point. It's good you were able to get some rest while they played. Are you liking the Hunger Games books? I've had many people tell me I should read them, but I'm still not sure…
