Childhood to do list: Eat ice cream for dinner
When I was a kid my Mom had a shirt from Marie Calendar’s, it said:
Life is uncertain, eat dessert first.
We never did that, that I remember. But my kids did just the other day.
They all had hearty grins, and after brushing their teeth, went to bed quite happily.
Okay, they got a little sugar crazed, but it was a good fun night!

I bet they will remember “the night mom let us have ice cream for dinner” when they grow up.

I've always been more the cookies and pie for breakfast type – but I can see from their smiles, that ice cream for dinner was a big hit 🙂

Some of my favorite memories involve food. Whenever I was sick from school, my mom would bring me a Sarah Lee cheesecake home and let me eat as much as I wanted. We've only eaten ice cream for dinner with Bobo when he was sick. He would go nuts for this idea!!
They look totally pleased with this. I did it once or twice… when Lars wasn't around 🙂
