Enjoy Girls’ Night Out with your daughter

bring your daughter to girls night2

This year the Zilker Summer Musical was “Sound of Music,” and if ever there was a musical made for girls only that could be argued to be it.  That or Jeff was forced to watch it too often as a kid.  Take your pick.

But, it’s been a summer tradition for me for almost 20 years.

So I gathered some friends.

And one very happy five year old, and we went to see it.  We stayed up way past our bedtime, it was almost midnight before we got home, but I had a happy daughter.

We danced to music and had so much fun and talked and laughed and spent time together.

It was so much fun! Princess was practically glowing with all of the attention she got.

It was so much fun and a couple of weeks later she is still singing songs from it occasionally.

I love the picture also, it’s SO cute! It was a really good production, one of their best. Sadly next year’s musical is not so kid friendly, “Little Shop of Horrors.”
