Fall of Man craft

For years whenever I would search Fall of Man craft I would find precisely two different crafts. First I would find some sort of snake craft. I hated that because it’s focusing on Satan and what he did, rather than on God and how He offered a forgiveness plan. Or I find apple crafts. I hate that we’ve decided it’s an apple, even though the Bible doesn’t say what type of fruit it is (I believe it’s not a fruit we know of). So I thought it would be fun to make some Adam and Eve crafts for the Fall of Man story for a fun Bible lesson.

Okay, so I started thinking about how I could make some interesting crafts for this. First I created a set of base figures. A generic man and woman figure, that was the base of all the variations of the craft.

Then I started brainstorming different ways I could have fun with this.

Fall of Man craft supplies

Fall of Man Unit (I recommend buying the Fall of Man Bundle to get it all together)

play dough, construction paper, stamp pad (or poster paints), glue stick, page protectors

Supplies for these crafts are pretty simple and for each of the different versions of this fall of man craft you only need one or two items (SCORE!)

I put the Adam and Eve blank into a page protector, it keeps the play dough from sticking to the paper and makes clean up pretty easy.

This can be a great preschool warm-up activity, or waiting for parents to pick up their kids activity because you can make and remake the outfits over and over again, and there are a lot of different ideas you could do with this.

I mean, look at the stylish hats I made for them? Who wouldn’t want stylish hats like that?

I did my sample with poster paint because I wasn’t able to find my stamp pad for this project. I think a stamp pad would be less of a mess, but both could work just fine.

I suggest no matter which version you choose, I recommend having a pack of wipes for kids to clean their hands without having a chance to touch anything on the way to the bathroom.

This can be a fun method of creating unique outfits for Adam and Eve.

You can split a single piece of construction paper into fourth, and possibly even sixths, but definitely fourths and give each kid a piece to tear up to create their clothes.

I know all of the children’s Bibles show the first clothes Adam and Eve had as these odd shapeless bags. I think the clothes they made out of leaves probably were, and that’s kind of why tearing paper and gluing it on is so perfectly representative of what happened.

Now the clothes God made.

Let’s talk about the clothes God made for them

Fall of Man craft Genesis Old Testament Bible

I bet the clothes God made were the best clothes Adam and Eve ever owned. I bet they looked good, were stylish (for whatever the style was then), and were comfortable.

Why would God make some uncomfortable clothes? Horrible random shapeless clothes that no one likes and bunch in weird places?

No, I bet God made some amazing clothes, and someday when I get to heaven, I’m going to find Eve and have a conversation with her about those clothes.

It would be interesting.

Okay, that’s my three Fall of Man Adam and Eve crafts.

Or maybe just Fall of Man crafts?

I don’t know how to phrase it, it’s an odd craft set, but I like it.
