Today, I’m sitting here with my laptop, my Nook, and a cup of tea as I read my new ebook.
iBlog {affiliate link} is an awesome book (and I’m not just saying that because I wrote a chapter). I’ve been scanning bits and pieces, and I can’t wait to put all I’m learning into action.
Let me tell you about what I’m loving:
What I love about iBlog:
- all the chapters have oodles of information
- it’s going to help me with SEO (search engine optimization), which I’m still trying to work on
- there is a chapter on improving your pictures
- the table of contents is clickable, so I can head straight to the chapter I want to work on, disclosure and privacy policies first
- I could just go down the whole table of contents, and list each chapter
- it’s not geared just for blogger or wordpress, it addresses both
My first actions items from iBlog:
- finish the book (DUH!)
- meta descriptions and tags, I need to work on adding these
- create a disclosure page and blog info on my static pages (what I’m calling in my head the blogging business page)
- work on time management (this is always one of my issues)
Where can you get iBlog?
Click here to view more details. It’s $7.99 for almost 400 pages of awesomeness! Considering most ebooks cost that much for 20-50 pages, this is a steal!
Congrats on the new book! Looks AWESOME!!
I want to work on blog design.
I cheated for mine and had someone else do it, but I need to learn how so I can be brave and try different themes on WP.
How awesome! I need to buy and read this book ASAP 🙂
Definitely taking more quality photos!
you and me both 🙂
I look forward to reading more about how you ladies do such a great job. I would really like to learn more about SEO.
Time management and solid posts!
Since I have four two year-old toddlers, I would like to learn tips that would help me manage time effectively for the blog. I would also like to read tidbits of great information in one place.
Awesome giveaway, thanks! I am looking for any and all tips 🙂
This looks like a great book…I’ve got a blog that needs some serious attention…I find it so hard to find the time to write.
Love books like this – would love to win a copy! Hope I will have the patience to get through that many pages, though 🙂
Take it the same way I am, I’m reading the chapters I’m REALLY interested in first, and reading a chapter a week, that’s only 10 pages or so.
Congratulations on the book!
Sounds like a book I could really use for some ‘heavy’ summer reading 🙂 Thanks for offering the giveaway!
I wan/need this book! I will probably buy it if I don’t win a copy, thanks for offering a giveaway!
I need work in all these areas! Right now time management and making the front face more user friendly would be higher priority.
Time management is a big one for me. I struggle with it, as evidenced by my being on the computer at midnight instead of in bed……..
Time management!
I want to work on my blog design!
