Creation story activities
Let me give you a peek into what an ideal week looks like for our Family discipleship, this rarely happens, but this one week it worked out perfectly. Many of the suggestions for our family Bible study could also be used in a Sunday School class (and I have done so).

Monday Creation story activities

We read the story together. We actually read it several times over the week in different versions. What’s the point of having several children’s Bibles if you don’t use them all?
Tuesday Creation story activities

We sort our days of Creation bean bags (directions to make Creation Bean Bags) into the different days God created things.
Wednesday Creation story activities

We cleaned up the park near our neighborhood. It was amazing to me how much trash there was in such a short period of time. This park opened up in April, and we easily found enough trash to fill a grocery bag.
Thursday Creation story activities

More sorting of bean bags. This time they tried to sort them the fastest they could.
Friday Creation story activities

We made a things God created collage. Of course, they took the broadest definition of it all and decided that God created “everything!” So it was an interesting assortment of stuff.
