So nice.
Our public elementary school actually has a few outdoor classrooms for use when the weather is nice.
You are such a good mom! I think we are going to be doing this next week!!
Yes, it is just too nice to be inside!
I bet they loved getting to work outside. I used to do this with my students in the spring.
Definitely!
I think our schools do have classes outside from time to time too. But I agree – the spontaneity of this is awesome. They all seem to be very engrossed in their worksheets.
If we ever get to see some sunshine this spring (it has rained more than the sun has shined) I was planning one school day a week for us down at the bay, sitting under the tree doing our lessons. Its so much nicer outside isn't it!
Hooray for good weather, and taking school outside!
Totally Agree!
Alfresco learning, drawing and painting is always more fun!
We're Going On A Ghost Hunt sounds like a great book for Halloween. Savvy is very excited about Halloween and changes her mind ever day as to what she is going to wear for tick-or-treating. It has only been in recent years that people here have seemed to get into the Halloween traditions.
The Jingle Dancer book sounds like a book that Sav would enjoy. Isn't it usually the way, you find the thing (in your case bells) you need for a particualr craft activity straight after you finish said craft activity.
Yes, some days you must! And, if your weather was like ours, it was the perfect day.
Lovely.
Looks like fun! I know I have seen kids outside at the high school when I've gone to pick up the older kids before.
Definitely gotta take advantage of the nice days. The weather is promising to be gorgeous here for a few days next week too ~ so outside we go!!
