Change up your spelling with a dry erase board
As I’ve mentioned several times before we’re using All About Reading level 1. One of the big components of the program is spelling out the words and then reading them. They recommend using spelling tiles, and I posted an earlier tip how we use ours with velcro and that was working for us.
That’s still working for us. But, my new tip is to sometimes take a break from that and write it using dry erase markers. If you don’t have a dry erase board you can use a mirror or window and it will wipe off just as well.
Right now this is the most commonly requested method to review our reading.

My kids love using white boards to practice skills – I think they find it less intimidating since it's easy to erase.
I think this is why Selena loves to use her doodle pad to practice on as she can erase it so easily. Though she loves using letter tiles as well.
Lap-size white boards are so fun to use for practice and review. I used them with my kids even when my daughter was in middle school. Thanks for sharing these ideas.
R uses her white board daily. It's one of the best investments I have ever made!!!!!!
I've seen classrooms using laminated sheets as mini white boards. You could use ruled paper or have a letter list on the top for younger children.
