Science Sunday: Superman’s experiment

September 10, 2011 Ticia Leave a Comment

Mommy I want to make an experiment!

That is not what you want to hear first thing in the morning.  Especially when he goes on to explain his plan.  But I was willing to go along with it.

Supplies needed: bowls, paper, glue, baking powder (changed to baking soda), paper, water

Hypothesis: When I put the paper in the mixture it will become sticky.

So Superman added large amounts of glue, water, baking soda, and then started to cut up papers into his mixture, with the occasional help from Batman…….

RESULTS:  Yes this mixture did make the paper sticky.

And then he went outside to clean up the horrid mess.

And I will also link this up to Learning Laboratory over at Mama Smiles.
