I’ve mentioned before several times that we enjoy listening to audio dramas and books on CD. Well, each year radio talk show host Michael Medved gives a talk about Thanksgiving on his talk show on Thanksgiving Day. He talks about the history, how it’s celebrated, and all sorts of wonderful things.
I’ve never been able to hear it because it’s on Thanksgiving Day, and his show doesn’t air in the Austin area, so I can listen to a garbly version of his show from Waco every now and then if my radio is getting good reception, but it’s not super often.
Actually I lied, I did hear part of it one day and I was enthralled. They’d been playing it by accident a week before Thanksgiving for about 15 minutes. I love productions like this to listen to.

I’ve been getting all sorts of emails (and by all sorts, I mean 1-2 a month with announcements), I’ve just gotten very excited about the announcements they’ve been sending out. Each time I’ve seen one from them recently, I’ve been happily muttering to myself about the latest speaker announcement.
Midchael Medved caused a lot of muttering on my part because I enjoy listening to his show, but he’s not available to listen to here.
The other piece of great news is they’ve extended the early bird prices for tickets through the end of November. I’ve also heard rumors they’re coming to Texas next time around (2015). Won’t that be fun?
I am unbelievably stoked about this. You have no idea.
Sounds exciting!
That sounds great!
